The company

"HEINRICH KRÖGER" Container Transport & Logistik GmbH was established in 1998 by merging the trucking company Heinrich Kröger Spedition & Schiffahrt GmbH with its parent company CONTRALO Container Transport & Logistik GmbH. The company "HEINRICH KRÖGER" was founded in Hamburg as early as 1959 and had its core business in and around the port of Hamburg. It was already in these early days that the special relation to the customers and the transport of their goods formed the centre of the business. Since then, there has been no change to this business philosophy although the company has meanwhile turned into a modern and internationally-oriented provider of all kinds of forwarding and logistic services.

Putting together the two business fields of trucking and international forwarding, we are now in a position to offer the full scope of forwarding and transportation services from one source. With the increased variety of services, the creation of the new company structure and the opening of our branch office in Mannheim we have followed the increasing demand for flexible logistic solutions which our customers and partners worldwide need to stay competitive in a changing Global Market. Competent, quick and friendly service has, however, always kept top priority in all departments.

Needless to say, we meet with our social obligation and have for many successful years been training young people in our interesting, varied and responsible profession as forwarding agents!
